This is now expired. Make sure you follow the blog to catch all of these deals when they happen.
This past week was all about the Mega Giveaway here at Running with Miles. I wanted to take an opportunity to give back to all of you who so faithfully follow along on the blog. We had a lot of prizes – almost 20 in all! And it is still going on! If you missed these giveaway posts, here is the list of posts to show what was given away and who won. Also, make sure you check out the comments! There are some great ones there!

While not a huge savings, this still offers enough of a discount to maybe help you choose to fly United for your upcoming trips. There are some great cities available with this discount – including sunny cities!
Elite status is important to road warriors. With the changes coming with United and Delta, many are looking for alternatives. This post highlights some of the great things offered by Alaska Airlines and how easy it is to get a full year of elite status from them – even at their top-tier!
The Hilton Surpass card is currently at 80,000 points for new cardholders. However, this post shows you how you can upgrade non-Hilton Amex cards to still get 50,000 points – even if you have already held the card!

Hyatt has decided not to do a permanent roll-out of their My Elite Rate that gave elites a 20% discount on many hotels in the system. The rates were certainly not available at every hotel for every date, but their certainly was availability and that helped many people. However, the rate will be dead in 2015.
Amazon has been pretty generous with the sales and this was the most recent of the 30% sales that they ran. Hopefully, they will have one more in case you have still not gotten that special thing you have been looking for!
The Orbitz and VisaCheckout promo was back, but this time it required a two-night stay minimum. Still not a bad deal at all and gave many one last stab at a great sale.
Great Deal: 20% Off Tablets, Computers, and More At Cowboom (128GB Used iPad Airs for $350 and a lot more!)

This watch has been one of my all-time favorites and it is not often to find it at this price BRAND NEW! Next year will see the price drop more as the successor has been rolled out, but at this price before the holidays, it is a great deal.
TripIt is an incredible travel app that really helps to make your travel life easier. TripIt Pro is the paid version that brings it to a whole new level. This post looks at what it offers and what it can do for you.
Right now, the Chase Freedom card is offering $200 cashback (or 20,000 UR points) after spending only $500 in 3 months. That offer is about to get cut down to $100 in a few days as the limited time offer expires. If you want to get it, now is the time. Also, the card gives some great category bonuses throughout the year. The card’s application link is here – Chase Freedom.
Amazon has brought back their smartphone at a lower price again. This is a pretty great deal to get an unlocked smartphone AND one year of Amazon Prime for only $229. Do not wait too long as this deal will disappear again soon!
Great Deal: Delta Amex Gold With 50,000 Mile Bonus and $50 Statement Credit (Both Business and Personal)
The Delta Amex Gold card is certainly not the best card, but this one-week, limited-time offer presents the best way to rack up Delta miles easily. The offer has been bumped up to 50,000 miles after spending only $1,000. And the offer applies to both the personal and business – a cool 100,000 miles for only spending $2,000 in 3 months!
Thanks to all who read and played along in the giveaways this week! I had a blast doing it and I hope to really be able to top it next year. Hope you had a great week and that this one is even better!
