Welcome back to our Sunday Summary Series where we review the stories that were covered throughout the week.
Sunday Summary
Marathon Maniac Monday – My Experience
In this edition of the Marathon Maniac series, I reviewed my experience in first meeting the criteria of a Marathon Maniac. I ran the Baltimore Marathon and the Kansas City Marathon on successive weekends and this post gave a short review of each race as well as the travel that I used to get to these races for little cost to me. Don’t forget to share if you have a Marathon Maniac experience you want others to read!
Tuesday Tools and Tips – Award Wallet
On Tuesday, we looked at that great mile tracking website, Award Wallet. I use Award Wallet, not just to track my mileage accounts but also to keep all of my program numbers and passwords in one secure location. The service is free (though the paid version has a couple of nice extra features) and is definitely one that you should start using to keep track of all the miles and points you are accruing! 🙂
Best Point Earning for the Runner – Shoemall.com
For this edition of Best Point Earning for the Runner, we looked at Shoemall.com. They have a sale going on that takes off dollar amounts in increments of your order amount. There are some great deals to be had, especially when you shop through the various portals we looked at for max point accrual!
Junk Mail Saturday
On Saturday, there were two offers that we looked at and both were targeted toward current cardholders. One of them is an offer that I will be taking advantage of and the other I will be passing on. Read the post to find out which and why!
St. George Marathon is Open!
I ran St. George Marathon last year and had a fabulous time at it. This event definitely lives up to its hype! The views, the elevation change, the catering the town gives to the runners – everything about it makes it a must run. BUT, so many people do want to run it that they cannot let everyone in. They use a lottery system. Read the post to find out more about it and look for future posts to give you travel and point ideas, as well as a review of the race from my perspective.
Thanks for reading along this week! See you next week!
