Here is a surprise! I just received a referral offer from American Express that ups the bonus offer for customers from the previous high of 125,000 Hilton points to 150,000 Hilton points! This is the same amount as the Hilton Aspire that comes with a $450 annual fee (though that card does come with a bunch of credits and Diamond status as well, including a free night). If all you want is the Hilton points with the lowest fee, this is the offer for you!
Hilton Ascend Offer for 150,000 Hilton Points
Link: Hilton Ascend Offer (if you are approved through this link, I will receive 20,000 Hilton points as well – thanks!)
Differences between this Offer and the Public Offer
This offer has 25,000 more points than the public offer and requires an extra $1,000 in spending to receive it. If you can swing the $3,000 in 3 months, this is definitely the better offer.

EARN 6X HILTON HONORS BONUS POINTS for each dollar of eligible purchases on your Card at U.S. restaurants, at U.S. supermarkets, and at U.S. gas stations.
EARN 3X HILTON HONORS BONUS POINTS on all other eligible purchases.
COMPLIMENTARY GOLD STATUS Enjoy complimentary Hilton Honors Gold status with your Hilton Honors Ascend Card.
Plus, spend $40,000 on eligible purchases on your Card in a calendar year and you can earn Hilton Honors Diamond status through the end of the next calendar year

NO FOREIGN TRANSACTION FEES – Enjoy international travel without additional fees on purchases made abroad.
- Annual Fee – $95 (not waived)
- Bonus not available to anyone that has previously held this card
This is a very strong offer. I think it is kind of a shame that Amex held this one back and is just now releasing this through their personal referral program. Obviously, the public offer should be the increased one and the affiliate/referral one should be lower. I think there are a lot of people that already applied under the previous 125,000 point offer and Amex is not that great about matching offers across application channels. Still, you could always give them a call (not message) and ask about it.
