This week, I have my new Special Deals page up and running! This is the place where you will find a lot of deals throughout the week that I feel are not for the wider interest of the BoardingArea home page. From now on, each week’s summary will have a section for deals. If I know the deal has expired, I will mark it expired it in that section.
Amazon had a great sale for the people that wanted to capture visual memories along the way! This deal is no longer valid, but there are some good chances that some great cameras will come up on Amazon for their better than Black Friday sale this week! (see this post)
There is a special transfer bonus to get even more AA miles from your SPG transfer bonus. This is a great way to get 1.5 AA miles for every Starpoint!
This deal has expired but the landing page for United still exists. This was a nice, easy way to get to Hawaii with your United miles. IF you missed it, follow the blog for more United award sales as they come.
Marriott has increased the offer on their premium credit card to 80,000 points, but that may not be the best offer for you because of what is included (and not included).
Make sure you put July 15 on your calendar! Amazon is telling us that it will be a big day of sales. But, you must have Prime. Find out what counts for Prime access.
A new Amex Offer has come out that is perfect for photography lovers plus a portal offer on a current Amex Offer. That portal bonus expires today so check it out!
The Amazon Fire Phone has hit a low price quite often but this week it hit the lowest – $159. That included the $99 for Amazon Prime! This deal is expired because it was an Amazon Deal of the Day but hopefully something like that will come back this week! I personally finally bought this phone when it hit this price.
This is a great offer by Visa Checkout and Sport Chalet to deliver a 25% discount on purchases over $75. That offer has been working on great sport electronics so it is a great deal!
There are two Hilton credit cards that have a great bump in the bonuses. If you want Hilton points, these are the cards to sign-up for now!
There have been quite a few new Amex Offers this week, including these two new ones.
Chase Sapphire Preferred Retention Offer, Ryanair Is Flying To Israel, Sports Minister Misses Ceremony Flying To The Wrong City, And More
This was a roundup of some of the stories that I had in my feed that I thought my readers would be interested in. Check them out!
I am in the midst of running quite a few 26.2 mile training runs. They are great for the training I need but there is one bad part about these runs!
Another new Amex Offer! This one is perfect if you want to head to Australia/New Zealand so check it out and save it to your account.
Ryanair has launched some incredible deals both within Greece and to/from Greece. If you are going to be in the nation of Greece at some point, make sure you check these out!
As mentioned above, the new Special Deals page is up and running. To see these deals, you will need to follow me on Twitter or check in on Running with Miles home page. All of the Special Deals will be available through a special tab on the top menu. These are deals that are short on commentary and rich on savings.
I just closed the second week of my high mileage training. In the last two weeks, I have done just about 200 miles in running (with a little bit of walking). That is a lot for me! Here were some of the ups and downs from the training week.
My Google Project Fi SIM card has arrived and I should have it shortly (I am currently out of the US). I am really looking forward to getting some cheaper global data than the other roaming packages with carriers.
