Good morning, Charlie!
Some lucky cardholders (myself included) are receiving offers for 35,000 MR points after spending $1,000 or more. Here’s my question…I already have a Celebrity cruise booked through a travel agency with final payment due before May. The terms of the offer include the following language: “or through your preferred travel adviser where Celebrity Cruises is the merchant of record.” Does that mean I can call my agent, put $1,000 or more on the balance due, and earn the 35,000 MR points?
I’ve used these offers before on existing cruises – I can confirm that calling in to your travel agent will work (has in the past at least) – I’m a Travel agent on the side – We use a system called “Cruising Power” from RCCL/Celebrity to make payments – Its basically a direct payment into Celebrity/RCCL or Azamara
Thanks, Jeremy! I was asking because the telephone number specified in the terms of the offer is different than the telephone number on the Celebrity website.
