Master List of 2019 Black Friday and Cyber Monday Travel Deals
Just a note – not all sales advertised as “sales” are necessarily great or even good deals. If you don’t see a deal here, leave it in the comments but I may not have missed it. Instead, I may have not added it since it wasn’t something that was much better than deals we see from time-to-time.
Edit: Added luggage sale at Amazon and the 50% off sale of TripIt Pro
Black Friday and Cyber Monday Airlines Deals
Alaska Airlines – With Saver fares starting at $29, here is one of Alaska’s biggest sales of the year.
Cathay Pacific – There are great deals from just $539 for economy and around $1,100 in premium economy (which is really the star of this sale but more expensive than last year). This sale is from all US gateways to any Cathay Pacific destination in Asia and runs through December 3.
Ryanair – Every day this weekend, Ryanair will be launching different sales throughout their network – like some deals are for under $5 one way! Prices are much cheaper than normal, but remember that the price is just for you and a backpack. If you want to carry more than that, you will be paying more than your ticket will likely cost. 🙂 This means these deals are great for bouncing around Europe instead of taking trains, buses, or more full-service carriers.
Delta – Delta has been surprising lately with some nice deals for burning your Skymiles. For this Black Friday sale, they are discounting cash airfare prices (and you can use miles at 1 cent per mile to offset that as well) Try $305 from NYC to Amsterdam to get you started! Book by December 1.
Emirates – Emirates is running Black Friday sales as well from the US to Emirates destinations from just $449 roundtrip. While this is not unusual from Emirates (sometimes, it is right around $400 to Europe), this is still a great deal. Emirates economy is one of the best ways to travel to/from Europe so this is a nice choice. This sale runs until November 30.
Norwegian – Norwegian is a no-frills airline with flights to Europe that can routinely be found from under $200. Starting today, they will be having a sale of up to 15% off those fares as well. If you value quick, cheap hops to Europe for a weekend or other couple days, make sure you look then! Do note that they have announced they were not going to begin routes from Scandinavia to the US again after the winter break so keep in mind that they have eliminated some routes.
Air New Zealand – Believe it or not, they run a 5th freedom flight from London to Los Angeles they will be having sales through the weekend from 299GBP roundtrip on that route! They will be ending that route in October of 2020 and sale prices run through then so take a look! Plus, you can buy premium economy on that route from just 749GBP so if you want something more comfortable, there is that.
British Airways – They will be launching their Black Friday sale today on this page with updates throughout the day. Book by December 3 but there are some great deals like the ones that pop up from the UK at times for 99GBP per person (for two people) to various European cities – and they include hotels!
American Airlines – They don’t have sale fares but they are running a deal for up to a 120,000 bonus miles when you purchase miles from them. This sale ends December 3.
Avianca Lifemiles – This program is very valuable to those that want to buy miles to redeem for “cheap” business class flights. They even have a sale going on when you redeem the miles as well like for up to 43% savings on awards in certain routes and cabins! The sale is for 145% bonus when buying.
Alaska Airlines – They still have their miles on sale with up to a 50% bonus. If you want to fly the awesome Cathay Pacific business or first class a discount, this is a great way to do it. Plus, you have access use the miles on other carriers as well, like Emirates (though it will cost you more miles).
Singapore Airlines – There are a bunch of deals from US gateways from $499 to Asia – not bad at all! From $999, you can do these trips in premium economy which will earn you more miles and give you a more comfortable ride on a long-haul. Or, you can do the ultra-long haul of Newark to Singapore in Premium Economy for just $1,099! You can also fly business class on several routes from $1,999. With Singapore, any class will be great!
Aegean Airlines – Get a 100% bonus when buying miles. This ties the best offer they have ever had. But, you should read the post to see if this is right for you after their award devaluation. Ends November 30.
Turkish Airlines – This deal is focused on all the US gateways to destinations in various countries. Fly as cheap as $599 roundtrip from Boston to India and many other options. Turkish is one of my favorite airlines out there for economy so this is a really good way to fly. Book by December 3 and fly by May 2020 to take advantage of this sale.
Black Friday and Cyber Monday Hotel Deals
I am going to make this section very easy. Extreme Hotel Deals constantly does some amazing work to ferret out the best deals in hotels and they have assembled an awesome list of what is a great deal. I’m just going to send you over there so you can check them out and use their links to reward them for their hard work.
I will add some other deals I may find here over the weekend as well, but the list by EHD is very comprehensive.
