Check out the details of the new World of Hyatt Bonus Journeys promo for 2022. There is even an extra offer for cardmembers so you can stack for more points.

Hyatt announced their new Journeys promo today to help encourage you to stay with them and to reward you even more for doing so. Here is what the World of Hyatt Bonus Journeys promo looks like.

Before you do anything else, hit up that link above to register for this promo. Even if you do not currently have plans for Hyatt stays, it is free to register and if something changes in your schedule and you do stay at Hyatt properties, you will be glad you did register!

Now, this new Hyatt Bonus Journeys is valid for stays from January 15 – April 20,2022. Of course, you are free to stay as many times as you want but this promo will max out at 20,220 points, or 20 total nights.

The way this works is that every two qualifying nights at participating Hyatt properties worldwide (including their Thompson Hotels, Destination by Hyatt, Hyatt Ziva, Hyatt Zilara, Miraval, Hyatt Place, Small Luxury Hotels of the World, Lindblad Expeditions and participating M life Reward destinationswill put an extra 2,022 bonus points in your Hyatt account. This is on top of the points you already earn at Hyatt. However, this promo also counts for award nights so you can actually earn back some points every second night!

It is important to know that these two nights do not have to be consecutive nor do they have to be at the same hotel so this is great for people like me who normally only are at a hotel for one night at a time.

The max you can earn is 20,220 points through this promotion.

Extra Point Opportunities for Hyatt Cardmembers

If you have the World of Hyatt credit card or the Hyatt Business credit card, there is even more in this for you. For every stay (minimum one night) that you complete in the following cities – Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, Nashville, New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington, D.C – you will earn a bonus 1,000 points.

That means that if you have a Hyatt credit card and stay one night at a property in New York City and another night at a property in Washington, DC, you will earn a total of 4,022 points – not bad for two nights! This promo maxes out at 10 nights (or 10,000 bonus points from this offer). To see the full list of participating hotels in these cities, hit this link.

Save Up to 15%

At over 850 participating hotels (see more information here), you can save up to 15% off when you book before December 21, 2021 for stays all the way through April 30, 2022. This could be a great promo to stack with the new offer as you can lock in lower rates and earn bonus points at the same time.

If you are a Hyatt card member, you can do all three and get some really nice bonus points.

Bottom Line

Last year, Hyatt had a doubling elite night promo and a lowering of the elite threshold so it is a bit telling that they are just doing the bonus points this year – travel is back and picking up again. That is good news for Hyatt and for us. With this new promo, maybe you will take an extra look at Hyatt properties for your stay in 2022. For me, I always look for Hyatt first as I find them to be the best consist program so I will definitely look for new stays next year!

  • Am I correct. , every two qualifying nights not a stay of two nights or more.
a 4 night stay would get you 4044 points…6 would get you 6066

    • That is correct – it is after any two qualifying nights that you get the 2,022 points. It does not have to be a stay or it can be a stay – it is just based on the number of nights.
