Amazon Prime Day 2021 kicks off in a little bit! But, you need Amazon Prime to get the deals so here is how you can get Amazon Prime for free – or, at least for cheap!

Tomorrow is the beginning of Amazon Prime Day 2021. No one knows yet how good it will be (or how bad!) but one thing we know for sure – you have to have Amazon Prime to take advantage of any of these deals! So, in case you do not have Amazon Prime, here are some ways to get Amazon Prime for free or cheap!

If you are new to Amazon Prime, you can take advantage of the Amazon Prime Day discounts by signing up for a free 30 day trial of Amazon Prime. It will let you get the best deals of the day and take advantage of the other benefits like the fast, free shipping and more for 30 days. After the 30 day trial, you will be charged so make sure you set a reminder if you only want the free 30 days.

One thing to note is that this is technically only for new customers to Amazon Prime but I have heard of it working with some people who had Amazon Prime in the past or maybe have a new e-mail address.

If you happen to have a .edu e-mail address (if you don’t, you can still be eligible but it will take 3-5 business days to confirm), you can sign-up for free Amazon Prime for 6 months with a 50% discount on Prime membership following that free trial period.

This is great for any students out there that want to get some real savings on Amazon Prime Day and to still take advantage of the shipping benefits and more up through the start of the coming school year.

Discounted Amazon Prime for EBT Cardholders

If you are on a government assisted program with something like an EBT, you can get Amazon Prime at a discounted monthly price of $5.99 per month (which can be cancelled at any time). This will help you access some deals for items that you may have been looking for some deals on come Amazon Prime Day.

Monthly Membership of Amazon Prime – $12.99

This isn’t free but it is a lot less than you would pay for an annual subscription! For $12.99, you can have Amazon Prime for one month and cancel it at any time. If you do this, you are essentially paying just $13 to get a bunch of deals for Amazon Prime Day. If you are only doing it for Prime Day, I suggest you wait to see if there are some great deals that give you what you are looking for at a discount of more than that $13 before pulling the trigger.

Summary

Amazon Prime Day has quickly become one of the best deal days of the year for shoppers. There are some great deals coming that we already know about and this can all only be had with an Amazon Prime membership. Hopefully, this post will help you get Amazon Prime for at least cheap, if not free, for some Amazon Prime Day deals!
