New Discount Partnerships For Aegean Elite Members

Aegean
Written by Charlie

The Aegean Miles & Bonus program has changed over the last year and while the biggest changes have not benefited the US-based Aegean elite members that much (like eliminating the long-term status and access to Star Alliance lounges), they have really made the program more beneficial for the people that actually do fly on their airline.

As someone who uses Aegean for (almost) any European travel and to get to the larger international airports, I am always appreciative of the benefits that Aegean provides. For instance, the 4 upgrade certificates to business class aboard Aegean/Olympic are great touches and something that is a great value for the added perks of inter-European business class. Of course, they also have the pooling of accounts for Gold members, and the 50% discount tickets around Aegean’s domestic network.

New Discount Partnerships For Aegean Elite Members

There were new benefits added this week that are perfect for the people that enjoy eating around Greece. Even if you do not live in Greece, if you have upcoming travel to Greece (maybe this summer – great time to visit!), you can take advantage of these new partnerships for Aegean elite members.

Goody’s

Aegean

Get a 10% discount at Goody’s restaurant with your Aegean elite card!

Something that I have not found in most other cities that I have visited is a city that is void of McDonalds! But, there is not one single Mcdonalds in Thessaloniki! There used to be a few but the interest ran low. Goody’s is actually the restaurant that the locals prefer even more than McDonalds and, though I do like some things at McDonalds, the taste of any chicken product will blow McDonalds’ chicken products out of the water (not exactly a hard thing to do, I know!). Their salads are good, their chicken items are good, their traditional Greek meat dishes are good – it is just pretty good food. Plus, the price is pretty decent as well.

Thanks to the new partnership with Aegean, Aegean Silver and Gold members will receive 10% off their order at Goody’s restaurants around Greece. To see the list of participating locations (and there are quite a few!), see this link.

Here are some of the details concerning the discount:

  • The Miles+Bonus card must be shown prior to the placement of the order thus, the discount will not be provided retrospectively.
  • The discount is valid only for Silver and Gold members.
  • The discount is not valid in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion.
  • The discount is valid only on specific Goody’s and Goody’s Burger House participating restaurants.
  • The discount is not valid for the Goody’s Delivery service.

If you are visiting Greece, you will definitely see a Goody’s and now, if you are an Aegean elite member, you have a card in your pocket that will get you a nice little discount on your food order!

La Pasteria Restaurants

Yes, this is a slightly different idea – a discount offered through a Greek airline at an Italian restaurant in Greece, but discounts are always good and I have heard some good things about these restaurants! While the available location list is smaller than Goody’s, if you are traveling in Greece and find yourself near one of these places, these discounts could make you want to stop in – Aegean Blue members (someone who signs up for the programget 10% off / Aegean Silver members get 15% off / Aegean Gold members get 20% off! Those are some significant savings that could move a place like this up on your list of restaurants.

Here are the details:

  • The Miles+Bonus card must be shown prior to the placement of the order thus, the discount will not be provided retrospectively.
  • The discount is not valid in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion.
  • The discount is valid only on specific La Pasteria participating restaurants.

Kuzina Restaurant

Aegean

This would be a nice place to get your Gold 20% discount!

Kuzina is one restaurant, located in Athens, that has received some pretty great reviews by travelers. TripAdvisor reviews rank it as the 169th out of over 2,200 restaurants in Athens while many other travel sites refer to it as one of the best restaurants in Athens. If you are going to visit a top restaurant in Greece, the addition of this restaurant into a partnership with Aegean may help you decide to try it out.

Silver members receive 15% off and Gold members receive 20% off! That is a great deal for sure! It is enough to really make me want to check this place out next time I am in Athens!

Here are the details:

  • The Miles+Bonus card must be shown prior to the placement of the order thus, the discount will not be provided retrospectively.
  • The discount is not valid in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion.
  • The discount is valid only for Silver and Gold members.
  • The discount is valid only for the Kuzina restaurant in Athens.

everest stores

The everest store brand can be seen through Greece, but they also find themselves into the Greek airports. With this new partnership, Aegean members can receive discounts at the airport locations. If you are a Gold member, you will already receive access to the lounges in the airport, but if you are a Silver member (or a Gold member with a guest), you may find this discount advantageous. Aegean Silver and Gold members receive 10% off their purchases and Blue members (the basic Aegean member who signs up for a card) will receive 10% off at the locations inside Athens International Airport.

Here are the details:

  • The Miles+Bonus card must be shown prior to the placement of the order thus, the discount will not be provided retrospectively.
  • The discount is not valid in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion.
  • The discount for the Blue members is valid only at the everest stores operating within the Athens International Airport “El. Venizelos”.

Summary

While these discounts are obviously tailored for the Aegean members who will be in Greece, they are a great step for the program. As someone who is a Gold member and is near many of these places, I will certainly be taking advantage of some of these partnerships. If you have not received your new Miles+Bonus card (though you should have by now) and will be traveling to Greece soon, make sure you download the Aegean app to your smartphone as your digital card is available on the phone. That should work in getting you the discount.
