In a time when no one is traveling, here is a way you can use your Hyatt credit card to earn Hyatt elite status even faster – without a single hotel stay!

Like other travel providers are starting to do, Hyatt has a new promo out now that will let you get to the next elite level even faster – all by just spending on your Hyatt credit card.

Get Hyatt Elite Status Faster – From Home with Your Apple Card

Earn Bonus Elite Night Credit

Normally, the World of Hyatt credit card will let you earn 2 elite night credits for every $5,000 you spend on the card. Well, from April 15 – June 30, 2020, you will actually earn an additional night for a total of 3 elite night credits per $5,000 you spend – with no cap!

Plus, if you have the legacy Hyatt credit card (the non-World of Hyatt one), you can earn two elite credits for every $5,000 spent on the card. This is a new one for these cardholders and a great deal for the $75 annual fee card.

Also, you will continue to earn Hyatt points for redemption with each purchase as well. This is a great time, for Hyatt fans, to direct more of your spending to the World of Hyatt (or regular) credit card.

The Math

Let’s say you haven’t used your World of Hyatt credit card this year. With this promo, if you put $15,000 on it in the next couple of months (before June 30), you will earn 9 new elite night credits plus you already get 5 night credits each year! That means you will earn 14 elite night credits (or almost halfway to Explorist status) without stepping foot in a Hyatt hotel!

But, it gets even better because you will have earned 15,000 Hyatt points for the spending as well plus a free Hyatt night at a Category 1 – 4! Not bad for re-directing some of your spending!
