This new, limited-time offer to get the World of Hyatt card is for the normal 50K points plus double the elite qualifying nights to get you closer to the next elite level!

Along with the promo for current World of Hyatt credit card holders, there is another promo that could be attractive to non-World of Hyatt credit card holders! Not only can you get the 50,000 points but you will also earn double the elite night credits on your first year for 10 elite night credits. That puts you 1/3 of the way to mid-tier elite status without even staying at a hotel!

To get started, you will automatically have Discoverist status which is better than walking into a Hyatt hotel with no status. But, this new offer also lets you earn 10 elite night credits which is 20 short of the next level – Explorist status.

Since both paid nights and award nights count for status, as well as earning elite nights by spending, you can really rack up the Hyatt elite night credits quickly! For example, with the current promo going on, you can spend $15,000 before June 30, 2020 and pick up an additional 9 nights! That will also earn you a free Hyatt night at a Category 1 – 4! Not bad at all!

If you have been on the fence about this card (which I think is the best hotel card around!), this may be the time to jump on it! But, if you are only interested in the points and do not care about elite status, go ahead and sit it out as the elite credits are the only difference between this and the regular offer.

Getting the Points and the Annual Fee

Remember that you need to spend $6,000 in the first 6 months ($3,000 of that in the first 3 months) to earn all the points and that it has a $95 annual fee that is not waived the first year. Just completing that $6,000 in spending will also net you 3 elite night credits!
