The price for the ProForm Pro 2000 treadmill is only $999 for today. While Amazon says that is $1,200 below retail price, it is available from other retailers for $1,299. So, in reality, today’s price is a $300 discount – still a great deal! This treadmill gets some great reviews and looks like a great machine. If I was in the market for a treadmill, this would certainly be one I would strongly consider.
This treadmill is rated higher and has more features than the last one that Amazon ran and has a feature I really like – decline. If you are training for certain marathons (like Boston or St. George), it is very important to work your muscles for downhill running. This treadmill offers a -3% decline to help you get prepared for that or to just work different muscles.
For you that are looking for a treadmill that can really help with your speedwork, this treadmill goes up to 12MPH (5 minute per mile pace). Combine that with the decline and this treadmill can give you some great fun for workouts. The treadmill I owned in the US (and put around 1,800 miles on it in 2 years) only had a 2.25HP motor – this one offers a 3.5 HP motor. My treadmill worked very well for me so you should be able to get even better performance from this one.
