Some years ago, I ran the Washington, DC version of The North Face Endurance Challenge (was running the 50 miler but had to drop just past 33 miles due to dehydration). I am used to running ultras but it was interesting to see how a big name like The North Face does in putting on such an event. I wasn’t disappointed! Everything was handled very well and professionally and the name drew large groups of runners for the various distances.
