Yesterday, I wrote about the new Amex Rose Gold card (they should have just called it that instead of the Gold Card since all their advertising is focusing on the limited-time Rose Gold edition). My biggest takeaway of the card was that it was nice to give the new spending categories but to only get 25,000 points for a $250 annual fee was a bad idea.
Bigger Offer! Earn 50,000 Membership Reward Points on the New Amex Rose Gold / Gold Card
Fortunately, there is a way you can double that amount and get 50,000 Membership Reward points. Now we are talking about a better offer! However, it involves hitting on a couple of Amex pages to get to it. You can do this by going to the card page through an incognito/private browser page or you can do it the way below (which will give a reader Amex points if you are approved – thank you if you do this!).
After you click that link above, you will actually be taken to a page for the Blue business card. That is not the one you want. So, click on the little button above it (shown above) that says “Looking for a Personal Card?” That page will take you to the one below.
On this next page, you will see the referral offer for the new Amex Rose Gold card (or the Gold version, if you prefer). You will see in the details that it says you will get 50,000 Membership Reward points after spending $2,000 in the same 3 months. Plus, you still get the 20% rebate back ask well (with a cap of $100) for dining in the first 3 months.
