The IHG fall promo of “Into the Nights” had a lot of technical problems with its launch. Those problems picked up again at the end of the promo when customers were supposed to have selected whether they wanted the free nights or the points.

IHG’s “Into the Nights” Promo Problems

The system was setup to default to the points which, for many people, would probably have not been the best choice. Two free nights at any IHG can be worth quite a bit more than what the points could yield in most circumstances. However, that choice was to have been made by the end of January and the website to select those nights was down for quite a while.

Selecting Your “Into the Nights” Reward

The website is back up to select your rewards from the Into the Nights promo

While customers could phone in to select their reward, it is obviously much easier to select online. IHG has made it easy to do that again by putting their website back in working order. Plus, IHG has extended the time allowed for selection of the rewards and that deadline is now the end of February. This means that if you had forgotten to select your prize, you still have time to login to select it now. I selected my final night just the other day so I am finally done with the promo! 🙂

Start here to login to your account and then simply select whether you want the free nights or the points. Whatever selection you make is final so make sure you know what you want for sure!

I went for the free nights. I still am not sure where I am going to use them yet but I know I will make sure I extract as much value from them as possible!
