Travel Deal: Santiago Marathon

TAM Airlines has a great deal right now on airfare from Los Angeles, NYC, and Miami to Santiago, Chile and the fare availability opens before the Santiago Marathon! The airfare cost is $375(from LAX) and $337 (from Miami)! The Santiago Marathon takes place on April 7, 2013 and the flight from LAX gets you there at 12:35PM the day before the marathon and the flight from MIA gets you there just before that (also the day before the marathon).

You can book this at Orbitz and I would book it quickly. The fare actually runs from March 1st – June 30th but availability is running out fast. Orbitz does have a 24 hour cancellation policy for some flights (I do not know if this is one of them) but if it applies to this one, then you can cancel for free (except for the Orbitz fee), so if you think you can make this, go ahead and book now and work details out later. I will put out some hotel options later today.

Remember, Chile has a visa fee of $160 that is to be paid upon entry, so figure that in as well.

Thanks to TheFlightDeal for posting about this deal.
