I have tried several different wireless earbuds for running and there have always been a couple of issues with each along the way. I love the Jabra Elite ones but they have a tendency to hurt my ears a bit after wearing them for a while. I have been using my Apple AirPods lately just because it is so easy, but they are really not meant for all that sweat so I have been looking around.

My friend, Ed of Pizza in Motion, reviewed the Bose SoundSport Free earbuds last year and they have intrigued me since then. I had heard of them before but I always like getting the opinion of someone I know. As he pointed out in his review, at the list price of $249, they are not cheap (regular retail price is now $199)! But, thanks to a special deal from Bose on their factory refurbished ones, you can get them for just $129!
In case you are thinking you may want to turn away from the factory refurbished part of things, don’t! Bose is one of two companies that I have found to be awesome in standing behind their products and their refurbished ones are no different. I would not hesitate to buy these (in fact, I just did!). I am looking forward to comparing them to the Jabra Elite (though I think the 65T would be a better comparison). I do love Bose products so I expect I will like these as well.
These are ready to take on sweat and rain and, according to Ed and Bose, they will last for 5 hours! That is better than my Jabra Elite ones so definitely looking forward to that!
