Hackers Breach Hotel Company Franchised Under Marriott, Sheraton, Westin

Here goes another security breach. This time it was a hack against White Lodging company that has franchises under the Marriott, Sheraton, and Westin branding. Marriott says that this security breach occurred in 2013 and was found to have affected hotels in Austin, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Louisville and Tampa.   • These security breaches are disheartening and sad to those of us that rely on credit cards to build our point totals. Not only are we the victims of theft, but are also victimized again as we are treated with suspicion as we go about our mile and point collecting activities.
