Here is a great way to get a huge discount on the Garmin Fenix 5 watches – the best deal yet on an incredible lineup of GPS watches!

Yesterday, I wrote about how Garmin dropped the price on their new Garmin Fenix 5 watches by $100 across the line. While that is a pretty great deal, this is an even bigger deal – with the potential to save quite a bit!

How to Get the Biggest Discount on Garmin Fenix 5 Watches

There is no question – the Garmin Fenix 5 series is an amazing group of watches! They work for everyday use as well as just about any GPS-tracking sport you can throw at it.

Plus, it was just released this year so it is still their latest and greatest model. Typically, it would be rare to see the number of sales on that kind of watch that we have seen, and it is almost certain we would not normally see them this cheap!

To get the best discount on the Garmin Fenix 5 watches, you will need to go through a couple of steps. This will be based on the post I wrote a couple of weeks ago. I was going to do this post yesterday, but the retailer (Swim Outlet) had not yet discounted the Fenix 5.

Step 1 – Sign-Up for Newsletters

By signing up, you will get a 10% off coupon in your e-mail shortly. You can then use this same e-mail address for the account you will need to setup below. This 10% coupon works on Garmin! This coupon is valid for only 2 weeks so be ready to order!

Step 2 – Save the Amex Offer to Multiple Cards

Important: add the offer to separate cards by simply logging in to your American Express account and then choose to duplicate the tab (if using Google Chrome) as many times as you have cards. Once they are all open, select a different Amex card in each tab and select to save the offer to the card.

Here are the details of this Amex Offer:

  • Get a one-time $5 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $25+ in one or more transactions
  • Valid online at swimoutlet.com
  • Expires 1/23/2018

Step 3 – Buy $25 Gift Cards

The gift cards are sold by SwimOutlet.com so they do count for the Amex Offers. I purchased a couple and had the message that I had used my Amex Offer each time. Buy them separately and in $25 amounts.

They say they will be delivered within 1 business day but I got them almost instantly.

Step 4 – Add To Your Account

SwimOutlet is a little different from other retailers. In order to use your gift cards, you must create an account (use the e-mail you started with above) and register/add each gift card to your account. Once you do that, they will easily be applied to your order.

Step 5 – Order Away!

When you combine the 10% discount coupon at checkout, you may get an invalid message, but you will see that it has added it to your order. You will have your previously loaded gift cards there as well so you are good to save!

The $100 discount is reflected – and that is before the 10% code and any gift cards through the Amex deal!

The $100 discount on the Garmin Fenix 5 watches is already taken into account so you are all set to order and save! If you had access to 8 Amex cards for this (and I know, that is a lot!), your total cost in the end on the Garmin Fenix 5 model (regularly $599) would be $409 – a savings of about 32%! That is definitely the best deal yet on these!

Of course, if you do not have any Amex cards, you can still get a savings of 25% using the current sale and the 10% new member discount. Either way, enjoy the savings!
