A Sincere Message Of Thanks

Thanksgiving is certainly my favorite holiday and one that I enjoy celebrating no matter where I am. There are many parts of it that are filled with tradition for us and I enjoy seeing our children become involved in the excitement of Thanksgiving.

A Sincere Message Of Thanks

For Family

It is very true – we have much to be thankful for. To that, I am extremely grateful for my family. They are a complete blessing to me and I enjoy every day I get to spend with them. This year, we welcomed our 4th child and saw him born in a different country. First time for us but my wife handled everything like an absolute champ! We are thankful that our children have had a healthy year. It is something to always remember that we can never take the little things, or the overlooked things, for granted.

For Readers

I am thankful to you, the readers. When I started the blog a few years ago, it was with the idea that I would be able to put all of this travel info on one page (in a manner of speaking) so that the people I was constantly talking to about travel could find it and I would not be asked the same question 10 times in a couple of hours. Well, as I wrote about here, that is not exactly how it worked out! It has grown and while the readership base does not include much in the way of family or friends, I have been able to make more friends through our interest in things of travel and, for some, in running. Thank you for being an encouragement and for the interaction we have had. Thank you!

For The Support

This time last year, I had direct links for some of the credit card issuers and I was really excited about being able to bring in extra income through that. However, I found out how hard it was to keep them and meet the quotas that were required to retain those links. So, I did lose them and replaced them with non-direct links. Part of having them means I cannot direct readers to search for a particular card or have the link to a particular card. Yet, some of you hunt those links out and apply through them allowing me to earn a bit from them – thank you! Every bit of support that I receive always humbles me and I thank you for that.

For The Memories

So, thank you! It has been a great year and one that I have thoroughly enjoyed. I am looking forward to seeing what next year brings! At this point last year, I had not earthly idea that I would set out to run 6 marathon distances on 6 continents in less than 5 days. Not only that, that I would do it in business and first class all around the world and it would cost me less than $250!

That is what miles and points have for potential. I am thankful for the freedom in travel that they have given us and what it has allowed us to do. I hope you have been able to experience some great travel memories this year from the use of miles and points as well!

Thanks again! Enjoy the rest of your Thanksgiving and try to not be too exhausted from your shopping tomorrow!
