Disclosure: I do not get a commission for any of the cards in this post.

The increased sign-up bonus on the Chase Ink Bold and Chase Ink Plus is still up and running. It probably will not be active for more than another day or so (if history is repeated). As such, you still have time to get your extra 10K points or 60K new points from a new application!

Getting 10K Extra Points

Chase Ink

As I wrote last week, if you have applied for a Chase Ink Bold or Chase Ink Plus in the last 90 days, you are eligible to receive the extra 10K points just by contacting Chase and mentioning that you have applied for the card but only got the 50K points. Now, you can contact them by phone, but I recommend you doing it by secure message (which I have outlined the process for here). The reason is that I have had some people tell me they called to have it increased and were told that they would have to wait 8-10 days for an answer. Those writing have received responses within 12 hours – some in as little as one hour! Not only that, but should something get messed up, you do have a written record of your communication. So, go here to see about getting the extra 10K points.

Getting 60K New Points

Chase Ink

Who doesn’t like the thought of increasing their account by 60,000 points? Since the regular bonus sits at 50,000, this is really just an extra 10,000 points, but that is great! In the easy days of Vanilla Reloads, one could get an extra 10K points by doing two months of Vanilla and Bluebird reloads. With that gone, there are extra steps involved in getting all of those points by spending so this makes it an even better deal than last year.

application link – Chase Ink Bold/Plus – 60,000 Ultimate Reward Points after spending $5,000 in 90 days (I do not get a referral for this but if you would like to help a blogger, this link will take you to Frequent Miler’s page where you can apply through there. The regular link at the top will take you right to the Chase page. Again, I do not get anything from Chase or Frequent Miler for this)

These extra 10K points are worth at least $150 and can be worth more depending on how you use them! Plus, as I mentioned in the post last week, in one credit card app, you can earn enough points for a round-trip ticket to Europe in coach! That is an awesome chance to explore some new place and do it for almost nothing!

This bonus will not last forever (will go back down to 50,000 points soon), so do not wait too long! If you have thought about getting one of these cards, there is no better time than now!
