Now you can use your digital wallet on your smartphone or smartwatch to withdraw cash at almost 16,000 Chase ATMs! This is great for people who would like to leave one more card at home or are out on a run and need to grab some cash on the go. Great news for all of us who are moving forward with digital wallets!

As of today, you can now use your digital wallets, like Apple Pay, Chase Pay, or Samsung Pay, to withdraw cash from a Chase ATM. In fact, this will now work at almost all of the Chase ATMs – nearly 16,000 ATMs!

We have been able to use digital wallets to pay at various retailers for quite a while now but getting cash out was not a sure thing (Bank of American and Wells Fargo do have this feature. However, Chase has flipped the switch to let customers get cash with those digital wallets now. This means one less reason to carry your wallet!

As a runner (who has had to get cash on the run at times), this is a huge plus! Garmin has now worked with Chase to let their Garmin Pay work on their latest edition of GPS watches (Vivoactive 3, Forerunner 645, Fenix 5 Plus series). The Chase website does not show Garmin Pay but it is a new edition so I would think that it would work.

Regardless, most of us use smartphones now and you can get one of the popular digital wallets on your phone. If you are a Chase banking customer, you can now remove your Chase debit card out of your wallet to make room for another daily spending credit card – and just use your phone to get cash out.
