Two Free Weekend Days With Avis

Written by Charlie

HT: thanks to Mr. Pickles for revealing this great code!

I mostly rent cars from Avis because I had held the Continental Presidential credit card a number of years ago and one of the perks of the card was Avis Presidential status. This status guarantees a two-car upgrade, guaranteed availability, great customer service, and some (unofficial) very nice upgrades!

Anyway, I always hunt for good Avis coupons and this is the best I have seen – 2 free weekend days at Avis! Unlike most coupons that are really good, you do not need to have an actual coupon at pick-up. The coupon is good through the end of June, but I would be surprised to see it last that long given how fast it is getting out there. It works at airport and non-airport locations. You may have to pay a few dollars in taxes, but I did not have any taxes or anything (my total was actually $0).

  • Friday night rental required
  • Not valid in the NYC metro area
  • Apparently not good for rentals after June 30
  • Valid only in the US and Puerto Rico
  • Coupon Code – TUEA002

This is perfect for race weekends! Here is a sample for Rochester for a Friday – Sunday (if you keep it through Monday, for example, like in Boston, you would only need to pay for 1 day of the 3 day rental).

Check that out!

Here is one more example – for one of my favorite marathons, Fargo Marathon. This one does have some taxes in place (I guess most people would be willing to pay $.92 for two rental days!).

Make sure you bring a copy of your rental reservation with you when you pick it up in case they do not have record of you having used the code. Thanks to Avis and this code, I have a couple of weekend rentals lined up!
