Starting this summer, Turkish Airlines is adding a second flight to San Francisco several days a week and it is with the new business class!

For a few months this summer, Turkish Airlines is adding a second flight three days a week to San Francisco. This will be a Boeing 787 Dreamliner which brings the new Turkish Airlines business class to San Francisco.

New Turkish Airlines’ Flight to San Francisco

Not only is it nice to get the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner on the San Francisco route (at least for a bit), but it should open up more award opportunities for business class seats.

This second flight starts on June 7 and runs through October 4. Here is the schedule for this new flight:

  • Departs San Francisco at 2:45PM and arrives in Istanbul at 1:50PM the next day
  • It flies Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday
  • Departs Istanbul at 9:55AM and arrives in San Francisco at 1:15PM

This flight was just loaded into the schedule so definitely check the award options quickly and keep an eye out to see if more space is made available. West Coast to Istanbul is hard to find in award space so this could be a good opportunity.

At the time of this post, each of those flights in June has open award space.
