Probably the single item that I have given away the most here on the blog has been Amazon Kindles. I have been a user since the 2nd generation and love them so much that I think it is about 25 or 30 that I have given away to readers.

For travel, it has to be one of the most indispensable pieces of tech. You can store thousands of books on one and the battery goes on for a looooonnng time. Not only that, but you can get a model with a built-in light that will let you read no matter where you are. And it does all of that while barely taking up any space or weight in your bag.

If you want to get one on sale and don’t want to wait until Black Friday (will almost certainly be at least as low as it is right now), this is a pretty good deal. Not only that, but Amazon has also discounted their high-end Oasis Kindle which is rarely discounted.

But, there is one catch – you need to be an Amazon Prime (you can get a 30 day free trial here but I’m not sure if that will allow you to purchase them or notmember to take advantage of this deal.

By purchasing one of the devices above, you will be supporting Running with Miles – thank you!
