The Hilton Ascend card has been at the 100,000 point offer but what makes this new offer something to look at is the inclusion of a free weekend night. This offer has been around before but you need to keep it past the first anniversary. That means you will be paying two annual fees to get the “free” weekend night.

Is This a Good Offer?
As I said, the only real thing that is different about this offer from the same offer normally available is the free weekend night after the first year.
Essentially, you will be paying $95 for that “free” night, which, depending on where you use it, could be a great deal. If you spend $15,000 on this card by the end of the year, you would also receive another free weekend night. This way you could plan a nice weekend getaway somewhere.
I would not mind paying $95 for a free night like this since it can easily be redeemed for several times that in large cities. I hold this card for Hilton Gold status so if you wanted to keep a card that would give you that, it is something to consider anyway. For the $95, you would get the free night and Hilton Gold for another year.
IF you have never had this card, I think it is a good deal to go for – if you have some Hilton redemptions in mind.
If you have a referral offer for the Hilton Ascend card, leave it in the comments and I will cycle it through the link above!
Thanks Charlie!

Just need to wait for a higher bonus on the Aspire- this increased bonus helps increase the first year value proposition of the Ascend, but if you plan to stay at Hiltons with any frequency or if you have a big trip planned which makes the resort credit as good as cash then the Aspire is a more attractive card between the two.
My wife and I ended up getting both, since we needed the points to help book five nights at the Conrad Koh Samui!
