Hyatt just launched their latest promo of Bonus Journeys to give you extra points and even a free night and now they are cutting prices for Hyatt members at locations around the world. If you think you may be able to travel this year, you will want to lock in some reservations before April 2 to save all the way through September 12!
New Hyatt Offer – Save 10-20% or a Free Night
A while back, it was great for elite members to be able to save on reservations as part of the Hyatt program. That has come and gone in certain forms since then and, today, we have this new form.
This new Hyatt promo – which you can read more about here – will give you 10-20% off your future reservations. You will need to book these reservations by April 2 and they are good for all stays through September 12, 2021. Some properties will instead offer a free night based on a certain number of nights in your stay. Both of these stack with the Hyatt Bonus Journeys promo going on now as well so you will also earn 2,000 bonus points (or 2,500 if you have the Hyatt credit card) for every 2 nights you stay.
The exact amount of the discount will vary by property, as will whether you get a free night based on the length of your stay. Some of the examples that Hyatt gives are:
Mountain getaways:

Offer valid for qualifying reservations made between March 2, 2021 and April 2, 2021 at participating hotels for stays with a check-in date between March 3, 2021 and September 12, 2021. Offer subject to availability. Offer must be booked on Hyatt.com, via a Hyatt Global Contact Center, or by contacting your personal travel professional and requesting the then-available offer (if any). One night’s deposit may be required and bookings made under these offers may be cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled arrival date. Reservations must be made at least 1 day prior to your stay.
Percent Off Offering: If published offer includes discount off room rate, such discount is off the Standard Rate and applies to room rate only.
Free Night Offering: If published offer includes a free night, Guest must use free night during stay in which it is earned. Free night is only available for consecutive night stays that meet the minimum stay requirement. Consecutive nights at the same hotel are considered one stay even if guest checks out and back in. Guest will forfeit any unused portions of this offer. Free night will be forfeited if you depart early or otherwise do not meet the minimum stay requirements outlined in the published offer. Book the complete stay and the free night will be adjusted at time of booking; no further discounts will be made. The complimentary night is available with each eligible consecutive paid night stay for the requisite amount of time. World of Hyatt® points and night credits will not be awarded for the free night (if applicable).
Bottom Line
It is nice to have options for promotions and Hyatt is again trying to make it beneficial for you to choose to stay at one of their properties whenever you finally do hit the road again. One thing is pretty certain, rates should be lower this year at properties than they have been in years when you consider this discount, the bonus points, and the fact that some locations have already discounted their nightly rates due to lack of customers.
