Unlike airlines like American, Delta, United, and others, JetBlue and Southwest release blocks of their schedule every few months. When they do that and extend their schedule, it is always a good time to check the prices to see what kind of deals you may (or may not) see for upcoming travel.
JetBlue Schedule Extended
With JetBlue, that day is now here as they have extended their schedule through January 7, 2019. I would imagine we would see a sale from them, probably Wednesday. It will not likely go all the way into January for sale dates but it should cover quite a bit more than it did in the last sales since they have now extended their schedules.
Book for Christmas and New Years!
Even though there are some good JetBlue sales, the sales never include travel for things like Christmas and New Years. That means now is likely the best time to get the best prices on those tickets for that travel period. So, definitely check out those prices and dates now to see if they are at prices you are willing to pay!
If you are looking for travel with JetBlue, do not forget some of the ways you can save money and earn points for good deals with JetBlue:
- You can get a 5% discount on all JetBlue airfare if you are U.S. Active Duty Military, Retired Military, Veterans, National Guard and Reserve, and their families plus get 2 free checked bags (must enroll in Veteran’s Advantage but you get a 30 day trial for free – more info here)
- You can sign-up for the JetBlue Plus card and get 30,000 TrueBlue points
So, time to check your dates and travel options with JetBlue into January of 2019! Happy hunting!
Wow Mint fares have jumped.
It depends on the route and season. BOS to/from SEA, SAN, BGI, and UVF can be had for under $399 one way and as low as $289!
Unfortunately I only fly LAX JFK route. At that price AA has them beat between ground services and inflight product. Mint is awesome in the $600 – $800 range. Between Flaship Dining and inflight product Jetblue really can’t charge the same price as Flagship first. Guess I will be going with AA again.
Oh, that is a tough route! You are right, though, AA’s first on that route is awesome and worth it compared to JetBlue.
