This price is for both the base models and the LTE/cellular models so you can go either route! Just remember that the LTE models will only work in the region you have bought your watch in (as far as the LTE connectivity). That means you can not rely on your cellular connectivity on your next international trip with a US Apple Watch.

I used the Apple Watch Series 4 for eight months – which is the first time ever that I replaced a Garmin for that long! I loved the larger display of the Series 4, the better battery life, better safety functions (fall detection, HR monitoring at the ECG level), and quicker performance. It is definitely the best Apple Watch model in design since the original and is a good price at $60 off. The Series 5 will be here in 3 more months – so, up to you!

Personally, I have used/reviewed every single Apple Watch model and compared them heavily in both features and uses against the Garmin watches. I found that the Series 4 presented enough things for me to finally switch, including the larger display, better battery life, and new safety features.

With that said, at its current price point, the Apple Watch Series 3 presents the best value option for anyone looking for an Apple Watch right now. For as little as $199 ($229 for the 42mm model), you get a quality smartwatch with built-in GPS and you get it new.
But, the latest sale price on the Series 4 now puts it at $140 more than Series 3. If you care about the new HR upgrades and things like fall detection (not to mention the increased screen size), the Series 4 just became a very compelling option.
