Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone is having a pleasant Thanksgiving! Thanks to the points we redeemed through the year, our family is still in Thessaloniki, Greece. It was different to be in a place where everything was opened today and where turkey could not be found (nothing says Thanksgiving like grilled, marinated chicken!).

I did miss my annual Thanksgiving race today – that was only my second race ever (the first year I ran it) and I have ran it every year since then. It is a great 10K that has a lot of friends and family participating. Instead, I went out for my own Thessaloniki Turkey Trot Ten K. Not my best time but it was fun to run with a little of a race mindset!

Watch the blog later today for a new post on how to take advantage of the great online shopping over the weekend to stack up on major points!
