Marathons are largely back to in-person events, even if there are some health protocols/requirements that are now in place. One of the most popular marathons in the US is the Marine Corps Marathon. A few years ago, they switched to a lottery due to their popularity which made it more difficult to get into. However, I am giving away one “Golden Ticket” that will let you sign-up without going through the lottery!

I received this as part of a mystery box I bought last year (nothing special because of being a blogger or anything like that) and I am unable to run the Marine Corps Marathon this year so wanted to give this Golden Ticket to someone who may be able to use it!

Here’s the fine print – this must be used before February 15, 2022 and you still need to pay the $200 entrance fee. This Golden Ticket does not give you a free entry, rather it lets you skip the lottery process to guarantee you will have entry to the Marine Corps Marathon for 2022. This race takes place on October 30, 2022!

Now, I am not sure if the lottery will be full this year or not but my guess is it will be more than filled. This is because there has not been a Marine Corps Marathon held in person in 3 years so there will be many runners that will want to jump in this year. Even if everyone who does enter makes it in, using the Golden Ticket to secure an entry now means you can get a head start on securing lodging and transportation before prices go up.

Given the fact that people from the last two years were able to defer their entries until this year, this could be the biggest sign-up the Marine Corps Marathon has ever had so this may be your chance to get in this year!
