Before you bid, you may want to read this post about SPG Moments Auctions to find out how they work and what you should look for.

The inaugural flights are for Dubai to Hanoi and then the reverse. This new route will be flown on the Emirates 777-300ER and the package is for 2 business class tickets on one of these inaugural flights. Here is what the SPG Moments package says about this:

Fly and stay in style with Emirates and SPG®. You and a guest will enjoy the Emirates inaugural flight from Dubai to Hanoi in Business Class. Stretch out and relax in comfort, savour global cuisine and exclusive wines. Plus, choose from over 2,500 channels of the latest and greatest movies and must-see TV shows, on demand and in multiple languages. When you arrive in Hanoi, you’ll enjoy a three-night stay at the picture-perfect Sheraton Hanoi Hotel. Kick back and relax, explore the city’s rich cultural sites, and enjoy tourist destinations. Don’t miss out on this exclusive trip with SPG and Emirates.

Of course, it is the reverse for the Hanoi to Dubai package but has the same benefits. For the Hanoi to Dubai route, you will stay at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Dubai. Here is what the Dubai – Hanoi package will include:

  • Round-trip tickets for two (2) on Emirates in Business Class on the first flight between Dubai and Hanoi departing 3 August and returning 6 August 2016*
  • Three-night (3-night) stay at the Sheraton Hanoi Hotel checking in 3 August and checking out 6 August 2016, breakfast included
  • Auction link

*Flights included in this package originate and end at Dubai International Airport (DXB). Flight dates and times are non-changeable. Winner and guest are responsible for any other flights needed to get to and from DXB.
Guests are responsible to apply for visa.

If you are going in the reverse, here is what you can expect for the Hanoi – Dubai package:

  • Round-trip tickets for two (2) on Emirates in Business Class on the inaugural flight between Hanoi and  Dubai departing 3 August and returning 7 August 2016*
  • Three-night (3-night) stay at the Sheraton Grand Dubai checking in 4 August and checking out 7 August 2016, breakfast and airport transfers included**
  • Auction link

*Flights included in this package originate and end at Hanoi International Airport (HAN). Flight dates and times may not be changed. Winner and guest are responsible for any other flights needed to get to and from HAN.
**The room is guaranteed for an early check in given the flight arrival time.

Bidding on the Packages

Both auctions are presently at 45,500 Starpoints (and each package has 2 roundtrip business class tickets plus the hotel rooms) and will likely go quite a bit higher than that. The auctions end July 25 at 7:00am EDT. That should leave you plenty of time if you want to move Starpoints between family member accounts to get the amount you will likely need.

These packages could provide a great experience so keep an eye on them!
