Airfare Deal: $99 to Iceland from 10 US Cities on WOW

Written by Charlie

Here is a fantastic deal – check out these $99 flights to Iceland! That is less than what you can fly to many cities in the US for and you can fly from that price from 10 cities in the US to Iceland! Check out the cities and dates and get booking – just remember to travel light. 🙂

If you have seen enough photos of Iceland and want to finally experience it for yourself, here is a deal that can get you to Iceland from cities around the US for just $99. Of course, if you want to travel with more than a small bag and you ever want to return, it will cost a little more but this is a great starting point!

$99 to Iceland from 10 US Cities

Link: WOW Air

What is WOW Air? It is a low cost air carrier based in Iceland that flies from many smaller markets in the US to Iceland and from Iceland to many cities in Europe. You will pay for pretty much everything – seat selection, large carryon, food, drinks, checked baggage, etc – but if you can trave light, you can save a ton!

The return tickets will be more than $99 but you could always use miles to fly back to the US from somewhere else in Europe and build another city or two into this Iceland trip (the $99 price is based on round trip, it will cost an extra $10 to make it one way).

The cities this deal is from are:

  • Boston
  • Cleveland
  • CincinnatI
  • San Francisco
  • St. Louis
  • New York
  • Dallas
  • Chicago
  • Washington, DC
  • Pittsburgh

What Does that Cheap Ticket Buy You?

Remember, that cheap ticket is just going to get you on to the plane. From that point, your bags, seat selection food – all of it is going to cost you. This is a great deal if you want to make a quick trip to Iceland and maybe even get another destination in Europe but if you are going to take a lot of luggage, it may not be worth it to fly with WOW. Make sure you check out the fees of what things will cost you.

If you live in or near one of those cities, check out this deal! It is valid for a smaller number of tickets for travel from August 6 – October 26.

If you want to run a fantastic marathon, the Reykjavik Marathon takes place August 18 – a great race to run (see my review here).

Pardon the rushed post – doing it from my iPad but wanted to get it out quick since the cheapest tickets always go first!
