I personally had the Travelpro Maxlite carry-on bag a while ago myself (a different model but same kind of configuration). It helped me avoid a ton of bag fees back in the day while packing 2 suits and various dress clothes.
There are two bags I use for 99% of my carry-on purposes and they are either my Tumi Alpha International carry-on or my Briggs & Riley Torq bag. Both are solidly built and have thousands of miles on them. While it may be tempting to buy cheap bags sometimes, it can save you more money and hassle in the long run to get a bag that has reviews as being durable. I have owned Travelpro before as well and found them to be excellent bags also. I also never paid full price for any of my bags so it always pays to look for sales like this!
