Aegean Airlines is out with their latest offer and it is for children and infants to fly for free! There is a limited time for this promo to book but it is good for 9 months of travel so this could be a great time to start putting together your Greek vacation for next year!

Aegean Airlines is one of the more family-friendly airlines that we have flown with. The flight attendants are always amazing about making the flights fun and exciting for the children with little gifts for them onboard and being kind and patient in helping families get settled in on the flights. This is generally just part of the Greek style with respect towards little children and pregnant women and it is great that it extends in a formal way into the sky. With this new offer, you do have to choose the “Family Fare” option so it will cost more than the Light fare. This isn’t just to get the kids fly free – the Family Fare also gives you unlimited ticket changes without a rebooking fee as well as a 50% discount on checked baggage (and 2X the miles for your Aegean frequent flyer account).
For Aegean, a child is between the ages of 2-11 and infants are under 2.
Here are the details of this new offer:
- Book by October 16, 2024
- Travel between November 11, 2024 – August 31, 2025
- This offer is only valid when there is at least one adult and one child or infant under the same booking and it does not apply to children travelling alone.
- 100% discount applies for children and infants when booking the Family fare.
- 50% discount applies for children and 100% discount applies for infants when booking the ComfortFlex fare.
- 90% discount applies for infants when booking the Light and Flex fares, but there is no discount for children’s tickets on these fares.
- The discount refers to the fare of the ticket, to fuel surcharges (only when applied) and it does not include the airport taxes.
- Fares shown on the reservation system are already reduced accordingly.
- In case of ticket cancellation refund policy is applied depending on fare category.
- Ticket changes are permitted – relevant charges depend on fare category.
- The offer is valid for Economy Class fares.
- The promo ends on 16/10/2024 at 23:59 Greek time.
Keep in mind that airport taxes are still levied for the free fare tickets. Airport taxes can be quite hefty at some airports so keep this mind when booking.
This works for all Aegean flights and destinations but does not work for codeshare flights (flights with an Aegean number but operated by a partner airline).
