Black Friday Deals on Noise Cancelling Headphones and Earbuds

Here is a roundup of the best Black Friday deals on headphones and earbuds – for the traveler, for everyday use, for sport and more!

When it comes to noise cancelling headphones, you can spend as little as $50 (like with the Anker Soundcore headphones) and way above $1,000. Most of the popular, good ones are in the $200-$400 range.

In this space, you really do get what you pay for. I recently tried out (for a review) the Anker Life Q20+ which can be had for $50 but found them to be quite uncomfortable after wearing them for just 30 minutes. I never have that issue with my Bose 700, so it will come down to how often and for how long you need headphones (and things like head type).

The Sony WH-1000XM5 is a good deal at $70 off, but that is the sale price normally. The Bose QuietComfort 45 is at their lowest price ever. The Apple AirPods Max are on sale as well but not at a deeper discount than normal sales and, honestly, I don’t think they are worth even this price right now. There should be new ones coming next year that will hopefully address some shortcomings with these as well as adding USB C for charging. The Apple AirPods Pro 2nd Gen are at a nice discount, especially since these just came out this year. Nothing incredible about them over the older ones except they got USB C charging.

For my travel headphones and video editing headphones, I own and use the Bose 700 Noise Cancelling Headphones. Those are on sale today (but I bought mine during some insane European deal a couple of years ago for like $50 or something) and I really do like them! Personally, if I were buying today, I would buy the Bose QuietComfort 45.

For running, I use the Beats Fit Pro which are also on sale. They stay in better than any other ones I have used and have active noise canceling built-in as well.

On the earbud front, my current favorite noise cancelling earbuds are the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds. These are on sale for a great price and they work incredibly well while having some great customization in the app.

Finally, yet another set of earbuds that I really like are the Google Pixel Buds. The new Pixel Buds Pro are on sale as well.
