I am a huge fan of Audible. I listen to books all the time when I’m running and even some during plane trips if I’m not working. I have been an Audible user for years and definitely recommend them – especially now when you can get 3 free months instead of just 1!
Prime Day Deal: Get 3 Free Months of Audible
Link: 3 Free Months of Audible (this is an affiliate link)
This is only for new customers so if you have registered with your e-mail address before, that e-mail will not work with this offer.
Audible Premium Plus costs $14.95 per month, meaning that this is a nice offer that is worth almost $45 and you get it for free, just for clicking to start the trial!
Now, make sure you set a calendar alert because you will be billed $14.95 for the next month of your membership when your 3 month trial is up. Also, before you cancel, make sure you use all your credits (you receive 1 credit – which equals 1 free book – each month) before you cancel or those credits will be gone. The books are yours to keep.
Even when you go to cancel, it is common to get another nice offer to keep being a customer so if you like Audible but not the $14.95, see what they offer you at the end of the 3 months.
You can use Audible on pretty much any smart device – as long as it has Audible in its app store!
Remember that you need to be an Amazon Prime member for this deal – check out this post on how to get Amazon Prime for free or cheap.
I really hate to be negative but as a person who listens to a lot of audiobooks, I don’t think Audible is worth the time. They have such a limited selection and only allow you to get one newish book per month it doesn’t work for me. I really can’t understand their business model other than to speculate that books cost them too much to provide a good selection. Some of the free public library apps do a better job in my experience.
Thanks for the tip on the library apps! I actually didn’t know about that! Don’t worry about being “negative” – I appreciate the real opinions!
The books that I typically enjoy are all on Audible so I have about 35 in my library and haven’t had a problem finding the ones I wanted so I didn’t realize it is a problem for others finding books.
Btw, with the free credit (or the monthly credit, after starting to pay), you can get any book in the Audible library. It is not just the newish ones.
