FTU in Seattle – Group Run!

FTU Seattle
Written by Charlie

FTU SeattleFTU stands for Frequent Traveler University and is a twice yearly event that takes place in different cities in the US. There are many great bloggers that will be presenting there and always has great posts about how wonderful it is to connect with individuals who are similarily interested in the world of miles and points. I have yet to be able to attend one (even though I was just a few miles away from FTU in DC last year – had to leave the day it started) and finally have my schedule that will line up to allow me to visit this one. The next FTU takes place in Seattle April 25-27. Fellow BA blogger, Hack My Trip, wrote today that there are less than 100 tickets available so if you have a desire to attend, now is the time to move on that!

Unfortunately, my schedule does not allow me to stay for the events on Sunday but I will not be flying out until late Saturday night and will be arriving early Friday morning. I have already heard from a few readers who will be attending and thought it would be a great time to put a group run on for any attendees who would like to get out of the hotel and run! We will keep it at an appropriate pace to accommodate any runners who want to join us. I am thinking we can do a run on Friday and on Saturday so whichever day may work for you.

Even if you have never run before, I would love to have a little run to help people get their feet wet (so to speak) with running. This would be a great time to do it! We can exchange miles and points and travel info on the run so it should be a fun time! I will put some maps and ideas together and put out more details as it gets closer. What do you say?
