Their cheap $99 fares are back again for the next several months. The $99 is only available from Boston and Baltimore to Reykjavik. The return can be had for $135 to make a total, roundtrip price of $234 for travel to Iceland.
Not only is Iceland on sale, but you can also fly to other destinations in Europe that are served by WOW starting at $149 (these flights will connect in Iceland).

Short Flight
Iceland is absolutely beautiful and it is a short flight, especially when you consider you are flying to Europe. It takes between 4.5 – 5 hours to fly from Boston to Reykjavik. That is shorter than flying from NY to LA! While many people like to travel internationally in premium cabins, on such a short flight for such a great price, it is a really nice deal to go with this.
Extra Fees
I have yet to fly WOW Air but plan on doing it at some point just to be able to report back on how it was. These $99 fares are available out of either Boston or Baltimore to Reykjavik and are available for travel between October and March, 2016. Yes, that is winter in Iceland but if I were going to be someplace during winter months, I would choose to go to Iceland. Not only is that the time when the Northern Lights are present but it is such a beautiful country already that the snow just adds another special perspective to it.

Summary
Iceland is a beautiful country. I got to spend just a couple of days there when I ran the Reykjavik Marathon and it was enough for me to know I want to head back there again someday! With the short distance to the East Coast of the US, it is an ideal location for a long weekend (especially since it is only 4 hours ahead of ET). With prices like this, even though there are extra fees for what we may normally find free, it is worth taking a look. But don’t wait too long!
