Ever want to know what a $1,000 bagel tastes like? Now, thanks to this Westin hotel, you could find out!

If you ever are in Dubai, you will hear of a never-ending stream of things you can buy that are ultra expensive and scream luxury. But, for a limited-time only, you can actually buy a $1,000 bagel without even leaving the US.

This Westin Hotel Is Selling a $1,000 Bagel

To me, Manhattan has the best bagels of anywhere in the world and now you will actually be able to buy a bagel there that costs $1,000!

The Westin NY in Times Square will be selling this $1,000 bagel. This hotel introduced it back in 2007 and they will be bringing it back for just a limited-time – November 1 – December 15.

What Costs So Much?

The ingredients on this $1,000 bagel are Alba white truffle cream cheese, goji berry-infused Riesling jelly and flaked with golden leaves. It is the Alba white truffle that is apparently the cause of the high price.

However, the Westin does say that they will be giving 100% of the proceeds to a charity, if you were so inclined to purchase something like this!

According to the hotel (via NBC NY): “Considering how pricing has risen in the past decade (try buying an apartment for the same price as it was in 2007), this bagel at its introductory cost is nearly a deal.” I guess that’s one way to look at it!
