A new sale is here from Southwest which means fares from $41 and a sale calendar that is open all the way through May of 2019! This is a great time to save on existing reservations or to book some new ones.

Another Tuesday, another Southwest sale! But, this Southwest sale extends the sale period to almost the end of May. This means that we are getting closer to the summer season of booking sales! It also means that this sale will give you 5 months of travel timeframe to choose from to get your best prices.

New Southwest Sale From $41 Through May of 2019

New Southwest Sale Details:

  • Purchase from December 4 through December 13, 2018, 11:59 p.m. in the respective time zone of the originating city.
  • Continental U.S. travel valid December 18, 2018, through May 22, 2019.
    • Travel to/from San Juan, Puerto Rico valid January 14 through February 28, 2019, and April 23 through May 16, 2019
    • International travel valid January 8 through March 6, 2019, and April 23 through May 16, 2019.
  • Continental U.S. travel blacked out December 21-23, December 26-27, December 29-30, 2018.

Some more good news with this sale is that you have 10 days to book instead of the usual 3. This means it is a great time to start planning out your travels for 2019! Remember, with Southwest, you can always cancel or change your flights later with no fees and your bags are always free. Even with Southwest price increases over time, Southwest can still save most people more money over other carriers.
