This “standard” king bed hotel room costs over $10,000 for tonight. But it is a view like no other hotel room for a once-in-a-lifetime night.

There are some very expensive hotel rooms around the world. People are either paying for the name and experience or they are paying for the room/suite itself. Some suits can cost well over $10,000 per night and are the size of large homes with amenities that most people could never imagine.

$10,700 for a Standard Guest Room? Location and View is Everything!

But, a single king bed guest room costing over $10,000 per night? Crazy, right? Well, if you want to experience a one-of-a-kind look at the last baseball game of 2025, there will be some that will pay for that.

The image shows a hotel room with a large bed, a TV mounted on the wall, a desk with a chair, and a small armchair. The room has a large window with a view of a sports stadium, showing rows of blue seats and part of the field.

This room is at the Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel and is connected to the Rogers Centre, otherwise known as the home of the Toronto Blue Jays and the American League champions for 2025. The name of the room itself is the “Guest room, 1 King, Baseball Stadium view” and those last three words are why you will pay almost $11,000 for the room.

It is a normal room with one difference – the window looks over the stadium below, a few rows above the stands. Most of the time, you won’t pay as much for a room that doesn’t have a gorgeous outdoor view but this inside view is why people are paying the money.

The image shows an empty indoor baseball stadium with a large, domed roof. The seating areas are filled with blue seats, and the field is well-maintained with green grass and a red clay infield. Bright stadium lights illuminate the space.

This room can be had during the regular season for under $350 for the night for a game, unfortunately, not with points. The rules are you can have 5 people in the room during the game and I believe they tag your visitors with wristbands before they can go upstairs. The room does not come with tickets to the stadium but there is easy access into the stadium if you are staying at the hotel and have tickets.

The image shows a hotel booking page with two room options available. The first option is a guest room with one king bed and a view of a baseball stadium, priced at 10,697 USD per night. The second option is a guest room with two double beds and a baseball stadium view, priced at 10,713 USD per night. Both options are non-refundable and non-changeable. Each room has a photo showing a modern interior with a large window overlooking the stadium. There are buttons for selecting each room and viewing more details.

Parking is actually kind of a deal at $50CAD for valet parking at the hotel. Considering what other parking may be in the area for games, $35 USD for the night isn’t bad at all.

I had a friend that had stayed in these rooms before and he said that the view is very cool and unique but the noise after the games does carry up to the room as the crews clean the stadium. I am guessing that whoever stays in these rooms tonight won’t much care about the noise following the World Series victory – especially if it is the Blue Jays.

These rooms cost almost this much last night and as of 10PM (one hour before the end of the game) there were still a few available. So maybe they have priced themselves out of it too much. Considering these rooms are 450 sq ft, this is costing $23 per square foot for a single night. Also, the taxes alone are almost $2,000 for the night!

I have been able to stay in some beautiful presidential suites in my life that cost 1/4 of this guest room cost (I didn’t pay that!) but for the people that will pay for these rooms, it is all about the location and the interior view – something that would normally not be an upsell for a normal hotel.
