Southwest launched a new sale this morning, targeting the spring break season. This means tickets won’t be as low as normal Southwest sales but the time of year they are going after with this sale is not a low price season either. So, if you have plans to travel during spring break, here are some deals you may be able to use. By the way, though they advertise it as $69, I did find some at $65 with this sale.

- Travel continental U.S. from international, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Hawaii blacked out February 27, 2024 and March 14 through April 7, 2024.
- California travel not valid.
The no-California travel part is disappointing but there are plenty of other destinations that are on sale. I checked some tickets that I had already booked and if I was able to shift my flight to a different one, I would be able to save 5,400 points (more than I would have been able to when I had booked it recently). So, definitely check out your existing reservations as well as looking at some other possible travel during this time of year.
Check Your Already-Booked Reservations For Price Difference
So, now is the time to search for your tickets within this sale and see if you have a better price available now than when you had booked it. If the price has dropped, you simply select to change the flight and look at the same dates and flights again. Once you go through and confirm, you will receive a refund of the difference in miles and the cash for the taxes will be transferred for the new ticket.
In 1 Minute, You Can Have Your Points Back!
The whole process takes less than 60 seconds and you could save a lot of money or points! If you had booked your ticket in the past using cash, you will receive a refund in the form of a credit that is usable for 1 year from the time you originally booked the ticket. If you booked it with points, you will receive the points back in your account for the difference.
