United Airlines and Their Food Offerings in Terminal C for Marathon Runners, Newark International Airport

One time, I was forced to eat my pre-marathon meal the night before in an airport (can’t forget it – it was in Atlanta’s airport and at the Sbarro station). Airports are certainly not what comes to mind for eating a nice, pre-marathon feast. United Airlines, in partnership with OTG, is trying to change that for you to make your meal before and after as running-centric as possible.

The OTG VP of Culinary, Nate Appleman, knows a thing or two about food for runners. Not only is he a runner himself but he also has a food-based column in Runner’s World. He designed these meals that will be available throughout Newark Terminal C to coincide with the arrival and departure of NYC Marathon runners. Here is what will be available:

Of course, remember that you are in New York City – the city that has every kind of food imaginable! If you have time in the city, you will want to grab something there. But, if you need/want to grab something on your way in or on your way out from the city, make sure you hit up one of the spots in Terminal C! Here is the menu and what is available and where.
