Points Deal: Get 20% Off JetBlue Award Reservations – Ends Tomorrow!

30% off JetBlue Sale
Written by Charlie

Use your JetBlue points for travel into November and get a 20% discount on that award travel with this new JetBlue promo! This is a nice way to get an even higher point value out of the normally fixed JetBlue points. It is also a way to use the new partnership with Chase to top up your account for that next award!

I think it is safe to say that JetBlue’s last promo kind of fell flat in terms of value or even fitting the word “promo.” But, they are back again with a promo that has been a winner before and if you were looking for a chance to take advantage of JetBlue as Chase’s latest transfer partner, this could be that time!

Here are the terms and details of this JetBlue promo:

  • Book an award flight by August 29, 2018
  • Fly September 17–November 6, 2018 (Discount not available for travel on October 8 or for Mint®)
  • Monday–Thursday & Saturday travel only (not valid for fights on Friday and Sunday)
  • When you search for an eligible award flight, the fare that you see will automatically include the discount

Kind of a bummer that Friday and Sunday travel is not included but we are used to that with promos from carriers like JetBlue and Southwest by now. Also disappointing that Mint is not included in this, but again, understandable.

The good news for any NYC Marathon runners that have not booked flights yet is that this will work for you! With the marathon being held on November 4, you are in a great position to take advantage of this promo.

Getting the Points Together

If you don’t have enough JetBlue points to make a reservation, I would say to either use the run transfer promos like they have going on now or take advantage of the new partnership with Chase Ultimate Rewards at their 1,000:1,000 transfer ratio. With this promo, going with it instead of using points to book through Chase is definitely the smarter move.
