TopCashBack is a favorite portal among many dealhunters thanks to their nice cash payouts with certain retailers. I picked up a nice bit of change during the October-November shopping period thanks to some great payouts (and referrals – thank you!). Starting just a couple of weeks ago, TopCashBack is now giving back even more when you take your payout as a prepaid Amex card.
Now Get 3% Bonus On Prepaid Amex Card With TopCashBack Payout
The way TopCashBack works is that you go to their website before you go shopping at an online retailer. You click the link for that online retailer and then just go about your shopping as normal. After your purchases post, you will see your payout amount show as pending in your TopCashBack account.
If you do not have a TopCashBack account, you can sign-up through this link and I will earn $10.
Several weeks later, it will become payable and you can transfer that out to your PayPal account, your bank account, as an Amazon gift card (with a 2.5% bonus) or now as a prepaid Amex card (with a 3% bonus).
I typically will use TopCashBack as my portal over a mileage portal if the bonus is at least 1.5 times what the mileage portal is paying out. For example, if I am going to shop at Under Armour and Chase is offering 5 points per dollar and TopCashBack is offering 10% cashback, I will normally go with TopCashBack because of the value.
3% Bonus With Prepaid Amex Card
Now, that has gotten even better with their latest payout method. They have added the ability to get a prepaid Amex card sent to you in the mail with a 3% bonus on your payout. That means that all of your cashback has just gone up even more if you start selecting the Amex cards!
But Kind Of Like 2%
True, it is not cash in your account, but this could be used at places where you would only be getting 1%/1pt in spending with other cards. So, it could be looked at as an effective 2% bonus considering you will not be earning points with a different card. Still, a nice new option.
It is in your account under the Payout section and you just need to select it to continue forward. For more about this new addition to TopCashBack’s payout program, check out their post about it here.
Amex prepaid in store? Sure!
I’ve never been able to use an amex prepaid online though.
Oh really? It has been a while since I last did it (haven’t done much with Amex prepaid lately) but it had worked before.
