Last month, I wrote about the next family of brands that was entering the World of Hyatt portfolio from the acquisition of Two Roads Hospitality. This latest brand to be integrated is the Destination family of properties. While there are several, Hyatt is introducing these 8 to the World of Hyatt system, starting today.
New! Use Hyatt Free Night Certificates for 8 New Destination Hotels
I wrote just a few minutes ago about the new World of Hyatt news out but I wanted to make sure I also address in a separate post that each of these new properties to join the World of Hyatt program are available to book with the Hyatt Free Night Certificates!
This is great news since places like Seattle, Scottsdale, and San Jose can be pricey – both with cash and awards. Now, there are hotels in each of those locations where you can use a Hyatt Free Night certificate – or, at the most, 15,000 points per night (for a Category 4).

What are Hyatt Free Night Certificates?
Hyatt has free night certificates that are good for a single free night (any night) at a Category 1 – 4 property. Here are ways you can earn a Hyatt free night certificate:
- Staying 30 nights in a year at Hyatt properties
- Staying in 5 different Hyatt brands
- Staying in another 5 different Hyatt brands
- An anniversary night on both the regular Hyatt credit card and the World of Hyatt card
- By spending $15,000 in a year on the World of Hyatt card
As you can see, it is very easy to pick up these free night certificates! If you are an Explorist elite member (requires 30 nights in a year), you could earn as many as 5 (the brand certificates are one-time certificates and this assumes you have the World of Hyatt card and are spending $15,000 in a year). At the least, an Explorist member with a Hyatt card would receive 2 free nights each year.
