This latest Amex Offer is great for saving money on cameras, electronics, and more! It is widely available on personal cards so get saving now!

This is a repeat of the Amex Offer that came out earlier this year and I completely maxed it out then! It has made a reappearance and is on all of my cards except the small business cards, so check all of your personal cards! It essentially will give you 10% off just about anything you buy since you can buy and use gift cards (I used up to 6 without a problem – I think you can use up to 10). Plus, they do not charge sales tax for delivery outside of NY!

Getting the Offers

Log in to your American Express account and scroll down to the bottom. You will see Amex Offers For You. Select it and add the offer you want to your card. Make sure you make note of which card you save it to.

To maximize itadd the offer to separate cards, simply login to your American Express account and then choose to duplicate the tab (if using Google Chrome) as many times as you have cards. Once they are all open, select a different Amex card in each tab and select to save the offer to the card.

Make sure you save these offers as soon as you can – using the tip above to maximize – as they are limited enrollment and when they are gone, they are gone! Even if they disappear, as long as you have saved the offer, you are all set.

For Twitter, you can sync your American Express card with your Twitter account and then tweet the hashtag for the offer to @AmexOffers. You will have to sync each card separately or use different Twitter accounts.

New Amex Offer for Adorama

adorama offer

I have been buying from Adorama for years and have found them to be excellent. This latest Amex Offer is perfect for someone like me who enjoys getting deals on camera gear or other electronics as it essentially turns into 10% off if you max it out!

  • Spend $250+ in one or more transactions, get $25 back
  • Expires 6/30/2017
  • Valid in-store or online

You can use this offer to buy gift cards (and get cashback from TopCashBack for your gift card purchases!) so this is a great offer to use to stack gift cards and get 10% off any big ticket item you want – or a bunch of smaller items. I hit this offer hard earlier this year with many things that I normally know I can get good resale on and already did it again this time! Plus, Adorama does not charge sales tax outside of NY so if you live outside of NY, this could be a better avenue of purchase than something like Amazon or Best Buy.

Another thing to consider, if you do not have any purchases in mind, is to try to sell the gift card to someone you know at a tiny discount. You will have received the 10% back and get 2% from TopCashBack while also earning some points on the purchase – win/win!

  • Hi,

I am trying to get into a resale business. Could you please recommend a few items that have a decent resale value? Thanks!

    • There is a tiny market that I normally do my resale in because I know the items very well and know what I can get all the time. I will send you an email with a few details that could help.

  • Hi Charlie,

I’m a little confused. it sounds to me like you are saying that it works for purchasing multiple Adorama gift cards. So that if I bought 4 $250.00 Adorama gift cards and used them at Adorama for a $1000.00 purchase, I’d get a $100.00 AmEx statement credit?

But the terms on the AmEx website “Limit 1 statement credit(s) per American Express® online account.” seems to exclude using it for more than one time per card, thus limiting the total amount of statement credit to $25.00. Am I wrong?

    • What you do is purchase 1 $250 gift card with one Amex card that you saved the offer to. And then repeat in a separate order. What I do is put in the “note” box the last digits of the card so I can keep track.
Then, you buy your $1,000 item and use all 4 gift cards in that single order!

  • Charlie, thank you for answering my question. Add forgive me if I’m being dense, but as per the cited Amex rule of “1 statement credit(s) per American Express® online account.”, wouldn’t that require 4 separate personal cards? Or do you know from past experience that if purchased on 1 card that AmEx will lump all 4 gift card purchases into 1 statement credit of $100?

    • Sorry for not being clear. Yes, it is one offer per card. If you do the duplicate tabs thing from the top of this post, you can save it to as many cards as you have the offer on. Then you can use each of those cards to get the gift cards. Let me know if that does not make sense!

  • Thats’s f*** up. I only get membeship rewards point and no cash back 🙁 that sucks.
