If you need luggage or travel gear, these great stacking deals at eBags could save you a bundle! It could even save you over 50% from the retail price of many items!

If you are signed up for the mailings from eBags, then you likely get their “sale” e-mails like every other day! While there is a tendency to tune them out, they are great to take note of when Amex Offers rolls out a new eBags discount and that happened yesterday! Find out how you can get great savings on luggage and more right now at eBags.

Great Stacking Deals at eBags

1. Save Amex Offer

Note: The Amex Offer for eBags comes around quite often and it is never targeted. This time, for some reason, it is on most of my cards but missing from a couple. If you do not see it, check back as they will likely roll it out to everyone in the next few days.

This new Amex Offer for eBags is as follows:

  • Get a one-time $25 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $125+ in one or more transactions
  • Valid online at eBags.com
  • Expires 1/8/2018

Save this to each Amex card you have so you can take the most advantage of it across any purchases you want to make. I have used these offers to purchase gift cards (and received the statement credit from Amex) in the past and can then use the gift cards to mix with another Amex card to multiply the savings.

2. Go Through a Shopping Portal

TopCashBack is currently offering 20% back, but more interesting is the 20 United miles per dollar. If you use this to help with the United holiday shopping bonus, you could get up to another 5,000 United miles when spending more than $1,500 (does not all have to be at eBags).

3. Discount Code

As long as you use a discount code found on the portal page or the home page of eBags, you are all set. So, make sure you use code HOLIDAY to take 25% off many products. This will not work on things like Tumi and Briggs & Riley but will work on many others.

* Bonus

Do not forget to sign up for eBags Rewards program. They are currently offering 10% back in rewards when you spend on Tumi and 5% on other purchases. It is quick and free to sign-up for.

Good Deal on Bose QuietComfort 25

stacking deals

Thanks to Nick at Frequent Miler for highlighting this, but you can also get the same low price of $179 for the Bose QuietComfort 25 that we talked about yesterday. When matched with your Amex Offer, you can get $25 off that price! One thing to note – it does not work with portals as they exclude electronics.

Also, you would get the 5% in rewards back on the Bose headphones. This could be the best deal around for these so check them out.

Takeaway

If you we use the Travelpro bag in the featured image (the Crew 11 21″ Expandable Spinner), we can see the total savings this stacking deal would offer. Do keep in mind that, for this particular bag, the 25% discount brings the bag in line with the cost on Amazon.

Here is how it breaks down:

  • Retail price: $195
  • Discount: – $39
  • Amex Offers: – $25
  • TopCashBack: – $31
  • eBags Rewards: – $8
  • Total cost after all savings – $92

That is over a 50% discount off the retail price of this example. Not bad at all!

  • I was going to use the Amex Offer last night, but glad I didn’t have the time and I got to read this first. Found out three things I didn’t consider from the post.
