‘Tis the season for the hotel promos and Hyatt is taking a swing at it. While they have typically offered more specialized promos targeting particular brands, this time they are rolling out two promos – one for every brand and one for cardholders.

New Hyatt Promos Offer Double Points and a Weekend Bonus – “Bonus Journeys”

Here are the details of these new promos (including the registration links) for Hyatt stays.

Double Points

If you are an award traveler only at Hyatt properties, you will not have a benefit from this one. But, if you are used to paying for Hyatt stays, prepare to start getting double the points.

These double points are for eligible spend at any of the hotels in the Hyatt booking portfolio – as well as the Lindblad Expedition experiences. Here is what you need to get started earning double Hyatt points.

To participate, travelers must:

  • Be a World of Hyatt member and register for Bonus Journeys before March 31, 2020 by visiting (membership is complimentary).
  • Include your World of Hyatt membership number with your reservation
  • Stay at participating locations with a checkout date between February 15 and May 15, 2020
  • Make sure you register first here

1,500 Point Bonus for Weekend Stays

Next up is a little something for Hyatt cardholders (if you do not currently have it, check out the offer here). When paying with your Hyatt credit card, you will earn 1,500 bonus points on each stay that includes a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday night. The catch? This only starts after your first stay.

This is actually a nice little bonus since many properties tend to drop in price over the weekend anyway (especially hotels that have more business clients).

So, register even if you don’t have a stay planned with Hyatt right now. You never know and double is always nicer than just regular earning!
